UK TOUR 2008!
on Glanfields's travel map.
We have had such an interesting day. Spent the morning on a ferry travelling up the Plymouth Sound where the First Fleet set sail from and all of the convict vessels that followed. It was also where the pilgrim fathers set off for America. A great place to visit but SOOOOO cold. I had a singlet, a shirt, a jumper and a jacket with a beanie and a scarf as well as stockings and jeans. Like I said, cold.
Then went on the bus to Glastonbury Abbey - legendary burial place of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere - although they are no longer there coz Henry VIII had them removed and now nobody knows where they are apparently. Got some wicked photos of the ruins but can't put any photos on today coz there's no USB port. Again!
headed to Bath and went to the Roman Baths. So cool. Well, hot really coz it's built on a natural hot spring (the only one in England) - but you know what I mean. Having all that history right in front of you blew me away. Phlegm was more so-so. He was keen to look at the book stores we passed on the way in!
He's feeling better - Sudafed and Codiene will do that for you. Think I might be getting sick now. Great! But then, that's England for you. I went to england and all I got was this lousy cold.... something like that!
Here's Phlegm:
picked up a Belly Geppetto remix Single at a Op shop, No books yet but not for a lack of looking. Like Lisa says it's a wicked place , seen some awesome stuff but the friggin weather!
All right peeps stay cool and hopfully we will be able to put up some pics tomorrow.
