Hey all!

We have had such a cool time up in the highlands... and not just because there's frost up here! Been past Eilean Donan castle where they filmed the movie the Highlander. There can be only one... and that's me! Went to the Isle of Skye where Phlegm 'touched the Skye' (he's a dork but we love him).

Had a visit at Glamis House - the ancestral home of the Queen Mother. It's more of a castle than a house of course. Nothing less for royalty. Absolutely gorgeous furnishings and built from the 15th to the 17th century. We had lunch there and let me say this, Phlegm GAVE me his baked potatoes - don't listen to him if he says I stole them. It's not true.

check out some of our photos. We have taken about a billion .. and only about 30 are any good! But that's what you do hey. PA040497.jpgPA030418.jpgPA030419.jpgPA030464.jpgPA010368.jpg

Will add more over the next few days.

Ach aye the noo

And we thought England was cold...

semi-overcast 7 °C

G'Day, Well we are in Scotland and slowly learning the language! We thought England was cold , we saw SNOW and it's NOT EVEN WINTER!!! still cant download any photos from the hotel computers but as soon as we can we will have heaps. any way loving the sights heres Lisa i am off to warm my bones with a little 'Water of Life' ...

Well kids at Julatten, I photographed a heeland coo (that's a highland cow in English!). Very cute... and very hairy. I currently have on 5 layers of clothes. Gee, I'm a wuss. James and Miss Donna will be pleased to know that mr G took a photo of me next to a bird that stands as tall as my waist! It was this massive pelican sitting on a park bench so he had me sit next to the thing and then took my photo. I was very nervous....

Having an amazing time in the scottish highlands. We went on a ferry ride up Loch Lomond and then climbed the tallest mountain in all of Britain called Ben Nevis. Alright, we went up it in a cable car but we still got up the thing!

Stay tuned. There will be more photos coming... as soon as we can find a computer with usb ports. Oh, and Skype will happen when we get to an internet cafe. No access here unfortunately.

Now, it's off to dinner and drinks then a hot bath! Love having a bath. Talk soon.
